Hospice Criteria

To qualify for hospice, your loved one must have an illness such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, end-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other illness that limits life expectancy to six months or less. Your loved one’s physician must also agree that hospice care is appropriate. Additionally, your family and loved one must choose hospice with the understanding that curative measures have ended and the focus is now on physical, spiritual and emotional comfort.

Hospice Payment

Hospice care is a covered benefit under most private insurance plans, HMOs and managed care organizations as well as Medicare and Medi-Cal. Private pay arrangements can also be made.

Coping with a terminal illness is never easy. We will deliver professional, compassionate care to help you and your loved one through this time of transition.
